Born Judith Tarcher attended Birch Wathen school at age 16 . After graduating at age 16 she enrolled at Wellesley College. She had awful spelling and didn't write for 31 years. After that time phase she worked in magazine named "Good Housekeeping". Her second novel called "Princess Daisy" became a #1 seller and had them published in over 50 languages.

She later on realizes what work really is by moving to New York and working to pay her sister's medical bills. Thos book also turned into a mini series on NBC. It also was published in 50 different languages.
